Alicante Gastronomica culinary fair
4 days of enjoying the finest cuisine in Alicante
Meet restaurants in Alicante and enjoy the most delicious tapas and other dishes during Alicante Gastronomica.
This gastronomic fair is organized for the 5th time this year by theProvincial Council of Alicante, Alicante Chamber of Commerce, IFA-Fira Alacant with the support of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana.
Alicante Gastronomica 2025 will be held from Friday, Oct. 3 to Monday, Oct. 6. Last year, Alicante Gastronomica attracted as many as 70,000 visitors.
Leading up to this event, you can eat special tapas at participating restaurants, this will also give you access to the gourmet fair.

Starting in mid-October , you can enjoy delicious tapas as a “pre-program” during the Alicante Tapas Days. Selected restaurants prepare unique creations in which they give free rein to their creativity and culinary skills with the best products from the region.

Gastronomic fair as highlight
As a highlight, the Alicante Gastronomica gastronomic fair will be held from Friday, Oct. 3 to Monday, Oct. 6, at the Institución Ferial Alicantina near Alicante airport. With the aim of showcasing the Mediterranean lifestyle and gastronomic diversity of the province of Alicante.
At this flavorful event, you can learn about the best the province has to offer. From artisan cheeses and freshly baked bread to special wines and local beers.
There are also companies that sell special kitchen items. In short, everything you need to cook well and enjoy the taste of the region.
The best chefs from Spain and Alicante
The four days of the fair offer a rich program with the participation of top national chefs and speakers, including: Martín Berasategui, Jordi Roca, Paco Torreblanca, Quique Dacosta, Oriol Balaguer,Carme Ruscalla and Fran Martínez.
Local chefs from Alicante, such as Kiko Moya(L’Escaleta, 2 Michelin stars), Alberto Ferruz(BonAmb, 2 Michelin stars) and Susi Díaz(La Finca, Michelin star), will also give master classes, tastings, showcookings and presentations.

- 17 leagues;
- 260 exhibitors;
- 130 Michelin-starred and Repsol-sun chefs;
- More than 450 presentations and interactive workshops;
- More than 36,000 square meters of exhibition space divided into two pavilions;
- It is expected to break the 2024 visitor record of 78,000.

Numerous championships and competitions will be held during the fair including:
- Championship omelet frying;
- International potato omelet baking championship;
- International Pastry Award;
- International competition with dates from Elche;
- Contest best tapas with cured meat;
- Contest best recipe with artichokes;
- Contest for the best Mediterranean rice;
- Contest for the best baked bread;
- Match best Monas y Toñas;
- Match thermomix with quisquilla;
- Contest best tuna tartare;
- Contest for the best steak tartare;
- Contest best broth with balls;
- Contest best Mediterranean grill;
- Cooking competition catering schools;
- Competition for best Mediterranean wine.
