Fresh department with fruits and vegetables, bread, fish and meat
Altea has a new supermarket. December 2023 MyMercat opened its doors on the N332 near Playa de l’Olla.
MyMercat’s goal is to provide quality fresh produce to regional residents in the area. But they also want to take advantage of the influx of (Dutch) tourists and foreign resident.

The supermarket has a large warehouse and an area of 850 square meters. MyMercat offers a fairly extensive assortment of items from the United Kingdom and other European countries, including some Dutch products.
It also has a very neat fresh food department with fruits and vegetables, bread and fish and meat, where you can also buy ready-made fresh meals, among other things. The supermarket also offers aand large selection of wines and liquors, fresh local products and a careful selection of organic and ecological products.
Getting groceries delivered
You can have your groceries delivered by MyMercat. Up to €120 it costs €7 and from €120 the delivery service is free.
If you place your order before 12:00 noon, it will be delivered the same day. Orders received after 12:00 noon will be delivered the next day.
MyMercat Club Card
MyMercat wants to reward your loyalty, which is why they have launched the MyMercat club card. Become a member and enjoy numerous benefits, such as exclusive discounts on a wide selection of products. Moreover, every time you shop with your card, you collect money for your next purchases.
You can request your card for free at any of the MyMercat supermarkets or by filling out this form.
Parking
Because the supermarket is right along the N332, it can be difficult to drive into the parking lot. In addition, you should take into account a limited number of parking spaces.

MyMercat is part of Grupo Sol y Mar, a Spanish hotel group headquartered in Calpe. For more than 25 years, they have been developing concepts in sectors such as tourism, restaurants and commerce. They do so based on criteria of honesty, diligence and customer satisfaction.
The Sol y Mar Group owns and operates hotels, apartments, campsites, restaurants, barber stores, shoe stores and, consequently, supermarkets. In addition to this new supermarket in Altea, you will find 2 MyMercat supermarkets in Calpe and 1 MyMercat in Jalón.
Supermarkets in Altea
With this new MyMercat supermarket, Altea has a total of 13 small and medium-sized supermarkets. Supermercados Consum and Mercadona are the most well-known supermarkets of the 11 supermarkets in and around the center of Altea. The only supermarket close to MyMercat is the “small neighborhood supermarket” Supermercado La Olla.

MyMercat is open daily Monday through Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
